The above photos are of the toy box I made for GPA before the box was finished. The finish was just a bit darker than natural, followed by coats of tung oil. The photo below is a Borzoi tavern sign I sold on eBay. It was also finished in tung oil with a final coat of polycrylic. Scroll all the way down to the bottom to see the toy box I made for my friend Larry as a birthday present.  
Larry returned Archie's puppy crate when his foster pug went away. Archie couldn't resist trying it on for size. I'm surprised he went in it (on his own) and more surprised that he was able to get out of it without a lot of difficulty.
